Flights

Varna Airport (VAR) operates national and international flights, it is located 7 km from the city center and 25 km from Golden Sands Resort.

It takes around 20 minutes to get to the city center by car. The yellow taxi company Triumf Taxis operates a 24-hour taxi service with pickup in front of Terminal 2 (+359 52 644 444).

Car rental companies are located inside the arrival terminal.

Bus 409 departs from the bus stop in front of Terminal 2 Arrivals, it connects Varna Airport with the Central Bus Station (15 minutes), the city center / Dormition Cathedral (20 minutes), Saints Constantine and Helena resort (30 minutes), Chayka (35 minutes) and Golden Sands Resort (50 minutes). Busses departs each 15-25 minutes, tickets can be purchased inside the bus, a 60 minutes paper ticket cost 2 BGN.
